In Tiny Lore, there is a world that is illuminated only by the shine of the midnight moon.

At all other times, this world stays silent, hidden, like a mystery.

If you were to peer into this world now, you would see that it is made of sky and water.

Above, a near-black sky, inky in hue.

Below, a lake, still as glass.

And all that lies in between: hushed, waiting.

It is like the world has held its breath, existing in the gaps in between.

Only when the night reaches its deepest point does the midnight moon begin to stir, a silver glow in the darkness.

Then… a single twinkle of light responds on the waters below. Then another. And another. One here, one there. Again and again. Like fireflies along the lake’s surface.

The lake takes each spark, holds it close for a moment, then slowly lets it go, high into the sky.

A gift of light.

And so it goes, sparks held in the lake, released in the sky, to become stars visible in the lake’s reflection.

At times, it is hard to tell where the sky begins and the lake ends. Vast, infinite twinkling lights mirrored, in all directions, on an inky backdrop, teeming with Life.

And in this moment, everything is close - and we remember that there is really not so much distance between things after all.

We call this world: The Stardust Lake.
